Anton Anishchanka is an electroacoustic musician, field recordist, and traditional music researcher. His work explores natural and folkloric sounds, merging experimental electronics, ambient, drone, jazz, and traditional music into transcultural sonic narratives. Using field recordings, archival audio, tape machines, synthesizers, and live processing, he creates immersive works connecting past and present, local and global, personal memory and collective history.

He has conducted fieldwork and sound expeditions in Belarus, Armenia, Romania, and Arctic regions, collaborating with communities to document and reinterpret musical heritage. Anton is the founder of Shatkavalka, an interdisciplinary music label.
